UP CM Yogi Adityanath to begin his two-day Ayodhya visit on Tuesday

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will begin his two-day visit to Ayodhya on Tuesday, according to an official statement. Adityanath is scheduled to visit Hanumangarhi and Shri Ram Lalla temples on Tuesday morning. He will later convene a meeting with officials and public representatives to review development projects and law enforcement in Ayodhya, the release issued on Monday said. The chief minister will also meet BJP office bearers at the Circuit House here and conduct a field inspection of the ongoing development works, it added. On Wednesday, Adityanath will pay tribute at the Samadhi Sthal of Brahmalin Paramhans Ramchandra Das Maharaj. He will then unveil a statue of the saint at Digambar Akhara and participate in a 'bhandara' programme, the statement said. Following these events, the chief minister will depart Ayodhya for Ambedkar Nagar, it added.

Ram Mandir tableau to be highlight at FIA's India Day parade in NYC

Ayodhya waterlogging: 6 officials suspended, SP MP seeks high-level inquiry

The Uttar Pradesh government has suspended six officials of civic agencies for gross negligence following road cave-ins and waterlogging at several sections of the newly-built Ram Path in Ayodhya. The newly-elected Lok Sabha MP from Faizabad, -Awadhesh Prasad, on Saturday demanded a high-level inquiry into the alleged irregularities in the construction of the 14-km-long Ram Path and the sewer lines beneath the road in Ayodhya. About 15 bylanes and streets along the Ram Path were flooded after rains on June 23 and June 25. Even homes along the road went underwater. Portions of the 14-kilometre road stretch also caved in at more than a dozen places. UP govt suspends 6 officials after road cave-ins on Ram Path in Ayodhya

The Uttar Pradesh government has suspended six officials of civic agencies for gross negligence following road cave-ins and waterlogging at several sections of the newly-built Ram Path in Ayodhya. About 15 bylanes and streets along the Ram Path were flooded after rain on June 23 and June 25. Even homes along the road went under water. The suspended officials are Dhruv Aggarwal (executive engineer), Anuj Deshwal (assistant engineer) and Prabhat Pandey (junior engineer) of the Public Works Department (PWD) and Anand Kumar Dubey (executive engineer), Rajendra Kumar Yadav (assistant engineer) and Mohammad Shahid (junior engineer) of the Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam. UP okays TATA Sons' Rs 650 cr proposal for 'museum of temples' in Ayodhya

The Uttar Pradesh cabinet on Tuesday approved a proposal from the Tata Sons to build a 'museum of temples' in Ayodhya at a cost of Rs 650 crore, officials said. Sharing details about the decision, Tourism Minister Jaivir Singh said the tourism department would provide the company land for the international-level museum on a 90-year lease for a token money of Re 1. "Tata Sons had proposed the project through the Central government, offering to build the museum at a cost of Rs 650 crore under its corporate social responsibility fund," Singh said at a press meet here after the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The cabinet also okayed the company's proposal for other development works in the temple town for additional Rs 100 crore, he added. Chief priest of Ram temple consecration ceremony dies at 86 due to illness

Acharya Laxmikant Dixit, the chief priest who had performed the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, died Saturday morning. Family members said Dixit, 86, was not well for the last few days. 'Govt paid Rs 1,253 cr to residents affected by Ayodhya Dham development'

A total of Rs 1,253.06 crore was paid as compensation to the residents affected by the various construction works for developing Ayodhya Dham, the district administration said on Tuesday, apparently countering claims that there was discontent among the affected people over the issue. In a statement issued on Tuesday, Ayodhya's District Magistrate Nitish Kumar said the beautification and widening of various major roads and paths had been done by coordinating with the shopkeepers, building owners and landowners from both sides of the road to make the traffic and movement facilities in Ayodhya modern and smooth.
