BHEL's total income for the quarter review stood at Rs 5,193.51 crore, down from Rs 10,489.11 crore in the same period last year.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 680.77 crore in the quarter ended March 2019, it said in a BSE filing.
Ebitda (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation) for the quarter under review grew 8 per cent YoY to Rs 1,395.2 crore against Rs 1,292 crore in the year-ago period.
The stock dipped as much as 12.8% to Rs 133.65, its lowest since January 25, 2017 on the BSE
