Over one lakh people donated blood on Saturday as part of the fortnight-long 'Raktdaan Amrit Mahotsav', which began on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, creating a "world record" for single-day donations, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said.
