Electric vehicle maker Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions on Monday said it has forged a technical collaboration with Jio Platforms Limited's subsidiary JioThings to launch a suite of digital display platforms and analytics. JSW Ventures picks up stake worth $1.8 mn in drone tech firm Aereo

JSW Ventures, an arm of diversified conglomerate JSW Group, on Monday said it has picked up a stake in drone technology entity Aereo for USD 1.8 million. Aereo uses drone technology and AI-driven data analytics to help clients in asset management in sectors including mining and infrastructure, a statement by JSW Ventures said. The company raised the funds as part of Series B funding round. Aereo, which is delivering operating profits, will be utilising the funds for strengthening its offerings and also expanding into international markets, it said. The company has helped the government map over 45,000 villages over the last three years and cover more than 50,000 square kilometer for the Digital India Land Record Modernization Program (DILRMP), the statement said. Global digital analytics consulting and solutions firm LatentView Analytics Ltd has reported a profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 342 million for the quarter ending March 31, 2023, the company said on Tuesday. For the year ending March 31, 2023 the PAT grew to Rs 1,554 million, the company said. Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh on Monday launched an initiative to provide financial support for the upgradation and maintenance of analytical instrumentation facilities (AIFs) created under the ministry's support. The Support for Up-gradation Preventive Repair and Maintenance of Equipment (SUPREME), a first-of-its-kind programme by the government, extends financial support for repair, upgradation, maintenance, retrofitting, or acquiring additional attachments to increase functional capabilities of existing analytical instrumentation facilities.
