Deepak Fertilisers Q2 results: Net profit soars over 3-fold to Rs 214 cr

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd (DFPCL) reported a more than three-fold surge in second-quarter profit at Rs 214.07 crore on Tuesday, driven by strong sales growth across its business segments. The fertiliser maker's consolidated net profit stood at Rs 63.45 crore in the same quarter in the previous fiscal year. Revenue from operations rose 12.7 per cent to Rs 2,753.59 crore, while total expenses increased 5.5 per cent to Rs 2,454.92 crore. Separately, the company said it has appointed Subhash Anand, currently serving as President (Strategy), as its new President and Chief Financial Officer effective December 1. Shares of DFPCL closed 11.1 per cent higher at Rs 1,256.05 apiece on the BSE.

DFPCL Q1 results: PAT surges 75% to Rs 200 cr, revenue down at Rs 2,281 cr

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation (DFPCL) on Wednesday reported 75.43 per cent growth in consolidated profit after tax at Rs 200 crore for June quarter FY25. The company's profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 114 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year, DFPCL said in a regulatory filing. Revenue declined to Rs 2,281 crore from Rs 2,313 crore due to lower commodity prices. The company said the first quarter of previous year saw a one-time impact of Rs 161 crore of subsidy on channel inventory and warehouse stock. "We have delivered an impressive performance for Q1FY25, with a notable increase in EBITDA margin by 823 basis points YoY, up from 12.1 per cent to 20.4 per cent. Deepak Fertilisers Q4 results: Net profit down 16% to Rs 215 crore

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd has posted 16 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 214.79 crore for the quarter ended March 2024. Its net profit stood at Rs 254.88 crore in the year-ago period. Total income fell to Rs 2,158.56 crore in the quarter from Rs 2,810.73 crore in the year-ago period, according to a regulatory filing on Wednesday. During 2023-24, the company's net profit declined to Rs 442.51 crore from Rs 1,210.10 crore in the preceding year. Total income fell to Rs 8,798.85 crore from Rs 11,384.71 crore.

Deepak Fertilisers ties up with Norway's Equinor for long-term LNG supply

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd (DFPCL) on Monday said it has entered into a long-term agreement with Norway's Equinor for supply of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). In a regulatory filing, DFPCL said the a long-term LNG contract will strengthen its value chain from gas to ammonia to various downstream fertilisers, industrial chemicals, and mining chemicals. This end-to-end tie-up shall establish a strong long-term foundation for all of DFPCL's product segments. "This agreement is for annual supplies of up to 0.65 million tonnes over a period of 15 years, beginning 2026. The tie-up provides room for trading some LNG parcels in the growing demands in India as well as accommodating DFPCL's growing captive needs," the company said. DFPCL to invest Rs 1,950 cr to expand Gujarat plant's nitric acid capacity

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd (DFPCL) on Thursday said it will expand the Nitric Acid capacity at Dahej, in Gujarat at a cost of Rs 1,950 crore. The Board has approved a proposal to set up a Weak Nitric Acid (WNA) plant with a capacity of 300 kilo tonnes per annum (KTPA) and two Concentrated Nitric Acid (CNA) plants with a total capacity of 150 KTPA, a statement said. The company said the new plants will be set up within the existing Nitric Acid complex of DFPCL Dahej in Gujarat as adequate land is available for the proposed construction. "The total project cost is estimated to be approximately Rs 1,950 crore including pre-operative expenses, contingencies, and finance cost during the construction period," it said. Deepak Fertilisers' Q4 profit after tax declines 9% to Rs 257 crore

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation (DFPCL) on Wednesday reported a 9 per cent decline in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 257.37 crores in the March 2023 quarter. The industrial chemicals and fertilisers producer's PAT was Rs 282.91 crore a year ago, the company said in a BSE filing. Its revenue from operations surged 38.91 per cent to Rs 2,795.54 crores in the quarter under review from Rs 2,012.48 crores in the year-ago period. In FY23, DFPCL reported 63 per cent growth in PAT at Rs 1,120.88 crore compared to Rs 689.48 crore in the previous fiscal. Deepak Fertilisers Q3 net up 40% to Rs 252 cr, revenue rises to Rs 2,754 cr

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation (DFPCL) on Thursday reported a 39.67 per cent growth in consolidated profit after tax at Rs 252.26 crore during the quarter ended December 2022. The company's PAT (profit after tax) stood at Rs 180.61 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year, DFCL said in a regulatory filing. Revenue from operations of the company witnessed a growth of 40.85 per cent during the quarter under review at Rs 2,754.76 crore compared to Rs 1,955.70 crore in the same period of 2021-22. Deepak Fertilisers, Aarti Industries join hands for Nitric Acid offtake

Industrial chemicals and fertilisers manufacturer Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation on Monday said it has signed a long-term binding contract with Aarti Industries for offtake and supply of Nitric Acid, valued at over Rs 8,000 crore. The agreement is expected to be executed before the close of this calendar year, DFPCL said in a statement adding that the supply arrangement will come into effect from April 1, 2023. The binding term sheet, signed between Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd (DFPCL) and Aarti Industries Ltd (AIL), for a 20-year period will provide specific volume commitments with supply-or-pay, take-or-pay obligations by either companies, thereby providing adequate assurance, financial security and protecting commercial interests of both DFPCL and AIL, it added. Deepak Fertilisers Q2 net rises nearly 3-fold to Rs 276 cr, revenue up 51%

Industrial chemicals and fertilisers manufacturer Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation (DFPCL) on Thursday said its net profit has jumped nearly three fold to Rs 276 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2022. The company's net profit stood at Rs 93 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, DFPCL said in a statement. The operating revenue of the company grew by 51.7 per cent to Rs 2,719 crore during the quarter under review, compared to Rs 1,793 crore in the same period a year-ago. "We are happy to share that the second quarter and H1 results have validated despite huge raw material price hikes, our pass through remains healthy. Our strong alignment with the India growth story provides positive tailwinds to demand growth for our products.
