Seeking help to contest polls, Sisodia launches crowd funding platform

Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia on Monday launched an online crowd funding platform and appealed for financial support from the public to contest the upcoming Delhi Assembly polls. AAP manipulating votes in Delhi to win upcoming Assembly polls, says BJP

The BJP on Saturday accused the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party of "manipulating votes" in Delhi to win the upcoming Assembly elections. In a press conference, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva, sharing data of voters in the last Lok Sabha and Assembly polls, claimed that lakhs of minority voters were added to the electoral rolls. He claimed that many Hindu house owners in Tughlaqabad and Kalkaji constituencies, currently held by AAP, have complained that many minority community persons were registered as voters. BJP's Parvesh Verma claims Kejriwal may not contest from New Delhi seat

BJP leader and former West Delhi MP Parvesh Verma on Friday claimed AAP supremo and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal may change his seat in the upcoming assembly polls and not contest from the New Delhi constituency. Delhi BJP chief Sachdeva claims 50% cut in PPAC, power bills to drop 25%

The BJP Friday claimed the Power Purchase Adjustment Charges (PPAC) component in the electricity bill in Delhi has been slashed by more than 50 percent due to the party's protest, and it will reduce consumers' bills by 20-25 percent in coming days. Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva told a press conference here it was a victory of the party workers who have been protesting against the discoms and the AAP government for "looting" honest power consumers in the name of PPAC. Citing Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) orders, Sachdeva said the "PPAC imposed by the three discoms has been reduced by more than 50 percent, and resultantly the consumer bills will be reduced by 20-25 percent". The PPAC is added to the electricity bill to compensate for any increase in the cost of power during procurement due to factors like rise in fuel prices, changes in policies among others. Kejriwal, Atishi committing 'political fraud' with women, elderly: BJP

The BJP on Wednesday accused AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Chief Minister Atishi of committing a "political fraud" with women and elderly in the city by promising them benefits of non-existing schemes ahead of Assembly polls.
