"One Day: Justice Delivered", starring Anupam Kher and Esha Gupta, will hit the screens on July 5. The film is produced by Ketan Patel, Kamlesh Singh and Swati Singh and directed by Ashok Nanda. "We didn't get censor cuts clearances on time so film print could not be delivered to overseas distributors and we wanted worldwide release on same date. So we moved to 5th July with the joint decision of producer, director and distributor," the makers said in a statement. The makers of Anupam Kher and Esha Gupta-starrer 'One Day' once again pushed the release date of the film from June 28 to July 5.Initially scheduled for June 14 the makers earlier postponed the release to June 28.Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on his Twitter account.Earlier, a video clip was released which featured a montage of slow, cryptic shots showcasing Anupam as a man engrossed in his thoughts.In the video, Anupam is seen delivering his monologue.The film's tagline reads, 'Where's there is justice, there will be victory' which seems like the base of the movie and rightly sets the tone for the film's subject.The first poster of the film was released in February by the veteran actor on his Instagram account. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has been roped in to feature in Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer romantic drama "Bole Chudiyan". The film will mark feature directorial debut of Shamas Nawab Siddiqui. "I am doing the film but that's all I know for now. This is the first time Nawaz has asked me to do anything and I trust him," Kashyap said in a statement. The actor-director duo previously collaborated in films like "Black Friday", "Gangs of Wasseypur" franchise, "Raman Raghav 2.0" and the Netflix original "Sacred Games". In "Bole Chudiyan", Siddiqui is set to play a passionate lover and has already started preparing for the film, the statement read.
Anurag Kashyap says he gets undue attention for simply backing a film as a cinephile and the director admits there is a mythology around his name which makes him uncomfortable. Citing the example of the Hindi version of "Game Over" which he presented, the filmmaker said if he likes someone's work, he will promote it in "any capacity". "I'll do that because I love the film. I genuinely feel there's a lot of mythology around me among cinephiles and filmmakers. I feel a lot of times, I get undue credit, especially when I'm producing a first-time filmmaker's work.
