A design collection show on the theme of 'Ayurvastram' was presented by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Gandhinagar at the G20 meet of deputies and health ministers here, the premier institute said on Saturday. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Saturday said there was a consensus during the G20 Digital Economy Ministers' Meeting that cyber security is an international problem that requires collaboration and steps for building trust and respect for other economies. Ahead of the G20 Summit, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has planned a special drive starting August 16 for cleaning and upkeep of 26 prominent roads in the city, officials said on Saturday. The G20 Summit is slated to take place on September 9-10 at a recently-inaugurated state-of-the-art convention complex at Pragati Maidan. As the G20 Summit date approaches, the MCD has "accelerated its efforts to enhance the look and feel of the city," a senior official said. In order to keep the city clean, green and in good condition, the MCD has planned a special drive from August 16 to September 19, when the final meeting is proposed to be held in New Delhi. Under this special drive, 26 major roads from the point of view of the G20 Summit have been identified, which will be supervised by nodal officers. India is seeking a consensus among G20 nations against fugitive economic offenders to ensure their faster extradition and asset recovery, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said here on Friday. From developing a thematic park to sprucing up the city with improved amenities, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has planned to deck up the national capital with just a month to go for the G20 Summit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's proposal to make the African Union a permanent member of the G-20 has received an overwhelming response from the grouping, India's G-20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant said.
