The Delhi Police on Tuesday said the whole city will remain open during the G20 Summit, barring a part of the area under the NDMC. Realty major DLF expects a revenue of around Rs 400 crore from sales of 92 luxury independent floors which it will develop on corner plots in Gurugram, its Executive Director Aakash Ohri said. The company has many corner plots in Gurugram and is launching 92 independent floors. These floors will be sold in a price range of Rs 4-5.5 crore each with size between 2,400 square feet and 3,100 square feet. "We are launching more independent floors in Gurugram as demand is huge for this premium product," DLF Group Executive Director and Chief Business Officer Aakash Ohri told PTI. He said the company is expecting a sales revenue of Rs 400 crore from these 92 independent floors. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will launch the Mera Bill-Mera Adhikar Scheme from Gurugram on September 1, Haryana's Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said on Wednesday. She will launch this scheme in a programme to be organised in Sector 15 of Gurugram, the JJP leader said, as per an official statement. A group of unidentified men allegedly started a fire in a mazar at a village in Gurugram in the early hours of Monday, police said. The caretaker of the shrine, visited by both Muslims and Hindus, said some prayer material was burnt in the fire before it was brought under control by local people. The incident happened when prohibitory orders under section 144 of the CrpC were still in force in Gurugram in view of the communal clashes that began in the neighbouring Nuh district and spread to parts of the city and nearby areas last week. The demolition drive in violence-hit Nuh district of Haryana continued for the third day on Saturday as authorities bulldozed illegal constructions on 2.6 acres of land around Nalhar Medical College in the state. Around 15 other temporary structures were also demolished as part of the drive, police said. These were illegal constructions. Notices were already given to owners of the demolished structures. Three motorcycles were set on fire on Thursday night in Pataudi area here, police said. The motorcycles were parked outside Rashid Auto Works near Chungi no. 4 while a mechanic was sleeping inside the shop. Firefighters doused the flames and rescued the mechanic, police said. Sporadic incidents of arson have been reported from Pataudi since Monday after violence broke out in the adjoining Nuh district over an attempt to stop a Vishva Hindu Parishad procession. Six people, including two home guards and a cleric, have died in the clashes that spread to Gurugram and other districts of the state over the past few days.
