Panacea Infosec announces 30-40% salary hike, to raise headcount by 35%

Cybersecurity firm Panacea Infosec has given 30-40 per cent hike in salaries for all employees with effect from April, the company said on Thursday. Currently, the company has around 230 employees and plans to increase headcount in the range of 25-35 per cent during the ongoing financial year, it said in a statement. "With this hike, Panacea Infosec will get an average increment of 30-40 percent in the financial year 2021-22. "Panacea Infosec is one of the fastest growing cybersecurity audit firms in India with an average growth rate of 245 per cent in the past three years," the statement said. Founded in 2012, the Delhi-based company claims to have over 400 clients spread across 45 countries. IDBI warns against fake job offers, says no agency hired for recruitment

IDBI Bank on Friday cautioned the public against fake job offers in its name and said it has not hired any agency for recruitment or collecting money. It has come to notice that some unscrupulous persons/recruitment agencies have been making job offers in the name of IDBI Bank by issuing fake offer letters, using the bank's name, logo and address in fake stationery, the lender said in a tweet. The LIC-controlled bank said it has not hired the services of any agency or individual to recruit personnel on its behalf or collect any money/commission/charges for training etc. General public is hereby advised to exercise caution while dealing with such unscrupulous persons/agencies, IDBI Bank said. Further, the bank said its recruitment notifications are always displayed on its website www.idbibank.in.

Govt will act against officials involved in illegal hiring: Arunachal CM

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday said the government will take appropriate action against officials involved in the alleged illegal appointment in the Education department. Responding to a question by senior Congress member Ninong Ering on appointment of teachers and other posts in the department without conducting any interview, Khandu asserted that all such appointment would be cancelled if proved. He said the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB), was created to check corrupt practices in recruitment process. Raising the question Ering asked the government as to why the APSSB was not informed about such appointments and want to know the total number of teachers and multi-tasking staff (MTS) appointed without interview by the department. Education Minister Taba Tedir while denying such appointments informed the House that the department on complaint from Ering had initiated a departmental enquiry, report of which would be available .
