Air India Express on Tuesday announced the launch of four new routes from Bhubaneswar as a part of the airline's expansion plan in eastern India. These services will connect the Odisha capital to Jaipur, Lucknow, Kochi and Patna, the airline said in a statement. Resident doctors in Jaipur resumed their strike on Saturday night, accusing the state government of 'inaction' towards their demands, including workplace safety measures. Jaipur Association of Resident Doctors president Dr Manohar Siyol said that the resident doctors at the SMS Hospital had given an ultimatum of 48-hours to the state government to fulfil their demands. Ten RSS workers were injured after they were attacked with "knives and other weapons" by a group of people during a Sharad Purnima event at a temple here, with police saying they detained two persons on Friday over the late last night incident. Jaipur Police has registered an FIR in connection with an interview of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi that was aired on a news channel in March last year. The FIR was registered in Jaipur following directions from the High court of Punjab and Haryana, Jaipur police commissioner Biju George Joseph told PTI. The SIT formed by Punjab Police to investigate the matter found that Bishnoi was in Jaipur jail when the interview was done, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Jaipur East) Tejaswini Gautam said. Wipro Hydraulics on Thursday inaugurated its sixth manufacturing facility in Jaipur, Rajasthan, built with an investment of about Rs 250 crore. The plant was inaugurated by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Wipro Enterprises chairman Azim Premji and Pratik Kumar -- Wipro Infrastructure Engineering CEO and Wipro Enterprises MD. Several Hospitals in Jaipur received email bomb threats on Sunday, police said. Bomb disposal squad teams have been dispatched to the hospitals. The emails claimed that bombs had been planted under hospital beds and in bathrooms, police said. "So far, four hospitals have said that they received such (bomb threat) emails. More hospitals are likely to confirm as and when they check emails," Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph told PTI.
