Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Wednesday said its construction arm has bagged a contract to establish various systems related to green energy generation and utilities for an ultra-luxury tourism destination in Saudi Arabia. "The construction arm of Larsen & Toubro has been chosen as the turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor....for the AMAALA project in the Red Sea region, Saudi Arabia," the company said in a filing to BSE. AMAALA is an ultra-luxury destination set in the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Natural Reserve along Saudi Arabia's northwestern coast. Larsen and Toubro (L&T) on Tuesday said its arm L&T Construction has bagged significant work orders from the governments of Odisha and Madhya Pradesh. The company did not disclose the order value. However, according to its classification, significant orders value in the range of Rs 1,000 crore to Rs 2,500 crore. "Water & effluent treatment business of L&T Construction has secured repeat orders from the Water Resources Department, Government of Odisha to execute cluster XXII & cluster XXV mega lift irrigation projects," L&T said in a statement. Infrastructure major Larsen and Toubro (L&T) on Thursday said it has raised Rs 1,500 crore through Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs). The debentures are proposed to be listed on the National Stock Exchange, L&T said in a regulatory filing. "The company has today (Thusrday) issued and allotted 1,50,000 rated, listed, unsecured, redeemable, non-convertible debentures of Rs 1 lakh each aggregating to Rs 1,500 crore maturing on May 2, 2025," it said. The NCDs have been issued at a coupon rate of 7.58 per cent. Larsen & Toubro is an Indian multinational engaged in EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) projects, hi-tech manufacturing and services. It operates in over 50 countries.
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Tuesday said it has bagged another ultra mega offshore project worth over Rs 15,000 crore in the Middle East. Projects worth over Rs 15,000 crore have been classified under the 'ultra-mega' category by the company. Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Wednesday said its hydrocarbon business has bagged a mega onshore project from a client in the Middle East. While L&T did not disclose the exact value of the contract, it counts an order as 'mega' when it is valued above Rs 7,000 crore. The scope of work involves engineering, procurement and construction of gas compression plants consisting of gas inlet facilities, compression system for gas compression facilities in new onshore facilities and its integration with existing plants, it said in a statement. The project has been bagged by L&T Energy Hydrocarbon. The company further said that in a bid to cater to the power supply requirements of the gas compression plants, three 230 kV extra high voltage substations will be set up by the power transmission and distribution arm of L&T Construction.

L&T on Tuesday said one of its subsidiaries has bagged a 'large' contract for construction of a bridge in Mumbai. The transportation infrastructure business vertical of L&T Construction has received the Dahisar-Bhayander Bridge project in Mumbai, L&T said in a statement. The project has been awarded by Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM). The 4.5-kilometre bridge will significantly reduce the travel time between Dahisar and Bhayander, which currently takes more than 45 minutes. Though the company did not specify the exact value of the contract, as per its specification, a large contract ranges between Rs 2,500-5,000 crore.
