The market valuation of TCS slumped Rs 251.40 billion to Rs 6811.5 billion at close on Thursday
The cumulative gains of TCS, RIL, HDFC Bank and Infosys were higher than the total loss suffered by the six firms which stood at Rs 537.68 billion
In the ranking of top 10 firms, TCS retained its numero uno position, followed by RIL, HDFC Bank, ITC, HUL, HDFC, Infosys, Maruti, SBI and Kotak Mahindra Bank
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) added Rs 71.86 billion
Barring RIL, ITC and Infosys, rest seven blue-chip companies saw addition in their market capitalisation for the week ended Wednesday
The valuation of HDFC fell by Rs 766.51 crore to Rs 2,60,661.37 crore
TCS's valuation zoomed Rs 29,024.41 crore to Rs 4,93,946.88 crore
Among the gainers, TCS saw its valuation surge by Rs 9,428.50 crore to Rs 4,57,129.43 crore
TCS shares also closed lower by 0.5% at Rs 2,308.65 a piece
For RIL, the fall was Rs 13,387.62 crore at Rs 4,43,595.61 crore
ONGC m-cap saw a plunge of Rs 8,919.1 crore to Rs 2,37,479.02 crore
TCS managed to keep its numero uno position, followed by RIL, HDFC Bank
The m-cap of HDFC slipped to Rs 2,17,486.67 crore, down by Rs 2,180.66 crore
HDFC Bank's valuation zoomed Rs 18,585.92 crore to Rs 3,52,313.93 crore
On the other hand, ONGC's valuation plunged Rs 9,689.09 crore to Rs 2,48,194.77 crore
The m-cap of ITC was higher by Rs 18,128.54 crore at Rs 3,30,375.99 crore
In terms of top-10 companies ranking, TCS led the chart followed by RIL, HDFC Bank etc
Infosys added Rs 4,915.46 crore at Rs 2,32,152.20 crore
SBI saw an erosion of Rs 970.35 crore in its m-cap, following which it stood at Rs 2,05,520.13 crore
On the other hand, TCS added Rs 5,891 cr to Rs 4,78,262 cr in its m-cap
