Noida Airport partners Mahindra Logistics Mobility for e-taxi service

The upcoming Noida International Airport (NIA) on Thursday said it has partnered with Mahindra Logistics Mobility to provide a premium, all-electric taxi service for passengers flying to and from the facility. The round-the-clock and seven days-a-week service will feature premium pick-up and drop-off facilities located at the arrival and departure kerbs, minimising walking distance, NIA said. Passengers will be able to book rides through various channels, including a dedicated mobile app, website, call centre, airline alliances, and airport kiosks. This multi-channel approach will guarantee accessibility and ease of booking for travellers, it said. The fleet will be managed with a focus on real-time dynamic adjustments based on passenger demand and flight schedules, reducing wait times, and extending service availability, NIA said. Mahindra Logistics Q2 results: Net profit declines 54% to Rs 8.5 crore

Mahindra Logistics Ltd on Monday reported 54 per cent decline in standalone Profit After Tax (PAT) at Rs 8.5 crore for September quarter FY25. The company had posted a PAT of Rs 18.6 crore in the second quarter of FY24, a statement said. Revenue during the quarter under review, however, increased 9 per cent to Rs 1,236 crore from Rs 1,136 crore in July-September FY24. Overall revenues during Q2 FY25 demonstrated a strong growth of 11.5 per cent on year-on-year basis. The company said it continues the focus on expanding capacity and making investments in the eastern and Northeastern region and also on warehouses, delivery stations and express logistics. It expects these investments to be accretive to the growth across businesses in the later part of the year. Mahindra Logistics to invest Rs 170 crore in warehousing facility in Maha

Mahindra Logistics Limited (MLL) on Tuesday announced the construction of its warehousing facility in Phaltan, near Pune with an investment of Rs 170 crore. Spread over 6.5 lakh square feet (sq ft), the new facility will be developed in two phases. The first phase, comprising 3.5 lakh sq ft, is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2024, the company said in a statement. Mahindra Logistics will manage inbound logistics to manufacturing and distribution solutions of diverse clients in automotive and manufacturing sectors located in the region, the company said. The company and its partners are set to invest Rs 170 crore across multiple phases for the development of the new facility and related infrastructure. Mahindra Logistics to sell its entire 39.79% stake in associate firm TLPL

Mahindra Logistics on Wednesday announced the sale of entire 39.79 per cent stake in its associate company Transtech Logistics Pvt Ltd (TLPL). Post completion of this sale, TLPL would cease to be an associate of the company. "The company...at its meeting held today....entered into a share purchase agreement with Transtech Logistics Pvt Ltd... for sale/transfer of the 39.79 per cent stake held by the company in TLPL i.e., 100 equity shares of Rs 10 each and 65,988 compulsorily convertible preference shares of Rs 50 each, for a consideration of Rs 1,32,176," Mahindra Logistics said in a filing to BSE. Revenue from operations of TLPL for the financial year ended March 31, 2023 was Rs 3.26 crore. Mahindra Logistics signs pact with Flipkart for heavy commercial vehicles

Mahindra Logistics Limited (MLL) on Friday announced a collaboration with e-commerce giant Flipkart for providing a dedicated fleet of heavy commercial vehicles, assistance in route management and network operations, among others for the latter's pan India operations. Under the partnership, Mahindra Logistics will operate 32 feet single axle HCVs for Flipkart in collaboration with Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, which will run on multiple national routes, across the country, the company said. The fleet deployed by the company will primarily facilitate Flipkart's e-commerce parcel movements through hub-to-hub operations, MLL said. Mahindra Logistics acquires B2B express business of Rivigo

Mahindra Logistics on Monday announced the acquisition of the B2B express business of Gurugram-based logistics firm Rivigo Services, which will help the company accelerate its capabilities in this space. Mahindra Logistics Ltd (MLL) will acquire the express business through a business transfer agreement (BTA), including the customers, team and assets of Rivigo's B2B express business and its technology platform, Mahindra Logistics said in a statement. Rivigo, however, will continue to own its truck fleet and the rights to the full truck load (FTL) operations.
