Need to introspect if political fragmentation affects welfare: Narayan Rane

Ahead of the Maharashtra assembly polls, former chief minister Narayan Rane has said the need of the hour is to introspect if the fragmented political scenario in the state is conducive to people's welfare and their interests. The repeated change in ideology and even constituency impacts the state's economy and the fiscal deficit is growing, BJP leader Rane told PTI here on Saturday while coming down heavily on Shiv Sena (UBT) head and former CM Uddhav Thackeray. Rane feels the ruling Mahayuti (comprising the BJP, Shiv Sena led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar's NCP) has an edge in the assembly polls, scheduled on November 20, due to BJP's strong leadership at the Centre. As many as 16 lakh youths have been trained through 18 tool rooms and technology centres run by the Ministry of MSME in the last nine years, benefiting more than 3 lakh MSME units, Union Minister Narayan Rane said on Wednesday. The tool rooms and technology centres are making a significant contribution in realising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream of a self-reliant India, he said. MSME ministry contributed significantly in Chandrayaan-3 dream: Rane

The Ministry of MSME contributed significantly in realising the dream of Chandrayaan-3, Union Minister Narayan Rane said on Wednesday. The Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises said the Bhubaneswar Tool Room under the ministry manufactured about 54,000 aerospace components of 437 varieties for the mission. Need to raise MSMEs contribution for India to be 3rd largest economy: Rane

There is a need to increase the contribution of India's micro, small and medium enterprises to become the third largest economy in the world by 2030, Union Minister Narayan Rane on Tuesday said. The MSME minister also said that a survey should be conducted to ascertain the number of micro-enterprises that have been shut in the country. According to the Udyam Registration Portal, 97 per cent of the MSMEs registered are micro units. "Even if we make efforts to increase the productivity of micro-enterprises we can become the third largest economy in the world by 2030," Rane said. Union MSME minister Narayan Rane on Wednesday urged the global and domestic industries to continue to invest in India, which is on its path to become the third largest economy. Raut sends notice to Narayan Rane for 'baseless allegations' against him

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Friday said he has sent a legal notice to Union minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Narayan Rane for making "baseless allegations" against him on public platforms. Raut said Rane should prove his allegations or else apologise to him. "Narayan Rane has been making baseless allegations against me and Shiv Sena. He should prove his charge or else apologise.
