The investor base has seen more than three-fold jump in the last five years, facilitated by rapid growth in digitisation, rising investor awareness, financial inclusion, and strong market performance. "The unique registered investors on the National Stock Exchange of India crossed 9 crore on February 29, 2024," the bourse said in a statement.
