In a statement, NBCC said it has inked a memorandum of understanding with Grid Controller of India Ltd (Grid-India) for execution of interior, fit outs and other associated infrastructure works for their new corporate office at Ayurvigyan Nagar, New Delhi. "The tentative value of works to be executed under this MoU is approximately Rs 70 crore," it added. State-owned construction firm NBCC Ltd on Tuesday reported a 26 per cent growth in its consolidated net profit to Rs 136.08 crore for the quarter ended March 2024. Its net profit stood at Rs 108.4 crore in the year-ago period. Income from operations rose to Rs 4,024.5 crore in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal as compared to Rs 2,813.35 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing. During the 2023-24 fiscal, net profit rose to Rs 401.55 crore from Rs 266.66 crore in the preceding year. Income from operations grew to Rs 10,432.63 crore in the last fiscal as against Rs 8876.36 crore in the 2022-23 fiscal. NBCC is into project management consultancy (PMC) and real estate business.

State-owned construction firm NBCC Ltd on Tuesday said it secured projects worth Rs 23,500 crore during the last fiscal year. In a statement, NBCC said it has secured significant business during 2023-24 financial year. The company "has secured record new works of Rs 23,500 crore on consolidated basis and Rs 18,400 crore on standalone basis, as compared to Rs 6,700 crore (consolidated basis) and Rs 4,225 crore (standalone basis) in preceding fiscal." In the 25th e-auction for commercial space at World Trade Centre (WTC) in Nauroji Nagar here, NBCC achieved the highest sale realization till date with the sale of 4.8 lakh square feet of commercial space for Rs 1,905 crore. "Power Finance Corporation Ltd, Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Ltd and Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd are the major organisations who bought space during this e-auction," it added. State-owned NBCC on Friday said it has bagged a contract worth Rs 89 crore from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (DMRC) to construct staff quarter residential building for the Bhubaneswar metro rail project. NBCC has been engaged for the construction of a staff quarter residential building by DMRC as Project Management Consultant (PMC), the company said in a statement. The total cost of the work is Rs 88.90 crore. Earlier this year, an MoU was signed between DMRC and NBCC to work together in the field of infrastructure development in India and abroad. NBCC (India) Ltd is a Navratna Enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. The company has been listed with National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE since 2012. State-owned NBCC on Tuesday announced sales of 5,000 units for Rs 2,900 crore across several residential projects of erstwhile Amrapali Group. As per the direction of the Supreme Court, Amrapali Stalled Projects Investments Reconstruction Establishment (ASPIRE) was formed to complete the stuck projects of Amrapali through NBCC (India) Ltd. "In a step towards the resolution of the stuck Amrapali project, NBCC has completed the sale of 5,000 flats having a value of around Rs 2,900 crore. This is a significant step towards delivering relief to the thousands of purchasers who have been waiting for years for their apartments," the company said in a statement. With this, the company has completed the sale of over 80 per cent of the inventory available. The sale of these 5,000 units has been conducted by ASPIRE, a company floated to complete the pending Amrapali projects, under the supervision of the Supreme Court-appointed court receiver. In a regulatory filing, NBCC said it has bagged the work order from National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) and Primary Agriculture Cooperative Society (PACS) in various states. The cope of work is "construction of 1,469 nos. warehouses and other agri infrastructure under the World's Largest Grain Storage Plan in cooperative sector at various locations across India", it said. State-owned construction firm NBCC (India) Ltd on Friday said it has sold nearly 4 lakh square feet of commercial space at the World Trade Centre in Nauroji Nagar, South Delhi for Rs 1,557.51 crore through an auction. NBCC conducted 21st auction for the sale of commercial space in the World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar. "The company has sold a total unsold commercial inventory of 3.91 lakh sq. ft. (approx) having sale value of Rs 1,557.51 crore," NBCC said in a statement. Out of the total area sold, 2.97 lakh square feet having sale value of Rs 1,183.7 crore has been sold to private entities. "This is the highest sale realisation in a single auction since the launch of WTC, New Delhi in 2017," the company said.
