After a successful countdown, which started at 01:08 pm (IST) on Saturday, PSLV-C42 soared into the sky from the first launch pad at Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota near Chennai
Isro said that the rocket performed well during the mission
On Feb 15, a PSLV released a flock of over 100 nano- and micro-satellites of customers for a fee
This is the first mission of PSLV in which it will be launching its payloads into two different orbits
The mission is also an attempt to demonstrate capabilities of ISRO for future commercial purposes
