P&G Home FY24 results: Net profit jumps 37% to Rs 573.6 cr, revenue up 5%

Procter & Gamble Home Products Ltd has reported a 36.8 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 573.6 crore and a 4.8 per cent rise in revenue from operations at Rs 8,756.8 crore during FY24, according to the company's filing to RoC (Registrar of Companies). The FMCG major's total income, which also includes other income, was up 11.2 per cent to Rs 9,413.02 crore during the financial year ending March 2024, according to the financial data accessed through business intelligence platform Tofler. In FY23, Procter & Gamble Home Products Ltd (PGHPL), an unlisted entity of Procter & Gamble India, had reported a net profit of Rs 419.31 crore, while its revenue from operations stood at Rs 8,352.10 crore. This P&G entity operates in the fabric and home care, baby care and hair care business of the FMCG major with brands such as Pampers, Tide, Pantene etc. PGHPL's profit before tax was up over two-fold to Rs 1,256.73 crore in FY24. P&G Health Q3 results: PAT dips 21% to Rs 46 cr, revenue at Rs 252 cr

Procter & Gamble Health on Thursday said its profit after tax declined 21 per cent year-on-year to Rs 46 crore for the third quarter ended March 2024. The company, which follows the July-June financial year, reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 59 core a year ago. Its revenue from operations declined to Rs 252 crore for the period under review compared to Rs 321 crore in the year-ago period, Procter & Gamble (P&G) Health said in a regulatory filing. "The company's continued efforts to strengthen our reach and distribution with a transformed go-to-market model reflected in a one-time impact on the quarter's sales owing to the transition and optimisation of trade management and inventory," P&G Health India Managing Director Milind Thatte said. "However, we have seen sales recover in the months of March and April," he added.

P&G Hygiene and Health Q3 profit falls 6.5% to Rs 154.4 cr, sales up 13.5%

Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd on Tuesday reported a decline of 6.45 per cent in profit after tax at Rs 154.37 crore in the third quarter ended March 2024 on account of one-time tax impacts. The company, which follows the July-June financial year, had reported a profit after tax of Rs 165.02 crore in the corresponding quarter of the preceding fiscal. However, Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd (PGHH) revenue from operations increased 13.48 per cent to Rs 1,002.17 crore during the quarter under review. It was at Rs 883.09 crore a year ago. Its Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 154.37 crore "was down 6 per cent vs year ago due to one-time tax impacts in the base as well as current quarters", said the earnings statement from the company which owns popular brands such as Vicks in healthcare and Whisper in feminine care. P&G Hygiene and Health Care agrees to pay Rs 36 crore to tax authorities

Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care on Wednesday said it has arrived at an advanced pricing agreement with the tax authorities for certain identified transactions with the company's affiliate. "As a consequence of this agreement, an additional tax liability, approximately Rs 36 crore (including interest) is payable," the company said. However, there will be a reduction in contingent liabilities of approximately Rs 87 crore, subject to withdrawal of relevant tax litigations by the respective parties. The agreement is for financial years 2010-11 to 2018-19, said Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care in a regulatory filing. P&G Health Q2 results: Net profit dips 6% to Rs 72 cr, income at Rs 315 cr

Procter & Gamble Health Ltd on Tuesday said its profit after tax declined 6 per cent to Rs 72 crore for the second quarter ended December 2023. The company had reported a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 77 crore in the October-December period of the last fiscal. Total income for the period under review stood at Rs 315 crore as against Rs 314 crore in the year-ago period, Procter & Gamble Health said in a regulatory filing. The company follows a July-June financial year. "This has been a challenging quarter for the company on account of an overall slowdown in the vitamins, minerals and supplements category coupled with a delayed seasonal onset," P&G Health India MD Milind Thatte said. FMCG products maker Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd has reported an over three-fold rise in Profit After Tax (PAT) at Rs 151.24 crore in the June quarter. The company, which follows the July-June financial year, had reported a PAT of Rs 42.55 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. Its net sales were 12.31 per cent higher at Rs 848.74 crore during the quarter under review, as against Rs 755.65 crore in the year-ago period, Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd (PGHH) said in a regulatory filing. "PAT for the quarter was Rs 151 crore, versus Rs 43 crore a year ago because of strong base business growth and one-time help," a PGHH earnings statement said. Procter & Gamble Health profit dips 27% to Rs 30 cr in April-June quarter

Procter & Gamble Health on Thursday said its profit after tax declined by 27 per cent to Rs 30 crore in the quarter ended June 2023, hit by a higher material cost and one-time employee cost. The company, which follows the July-June financial year, had reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 41 crore in the same quarter last year. Total income increased to Rs 307 crore in the April-June quarter from Rs 299 crore in the year-ago period, Procter & Gamble Health said in a statement. For the year ended June 30, 2023, the company reported a PAT of Rs 229 crore, up 19 per cent from Rs 192 crore in the previous fiscal. Total income rose to Rs 1,248 crore as compared with Rs 1,128 crore in the previous year.
