India's most valuable family businesses are collectively worth a whopping Rs 6,009, 100 crore, as per anewly released report which has unveiled the country's most influential family-owned enterprises.
IT services company HCL Technologies (HCLTech) has teamed up with SAP to drive innovation and accelerate the adoption of Generative AI, according to a release. With this collaboration, HCLTech will partner with SAP to develop solutions that enable businesses to get better outcomes and speed up business transformation. HCL founder Shiv Nadar topped as the most generous person in the country with an annual donation of Rs 1,161 crore, the EdelGive Hurun India Philanthropy List 2022 revealed on Thursday. Nadar, 77, has reclaimed the 'India's most generous' title with a donation of Rs 3 crore per day, according to the report. Prominent Indian industrialists Shiv Nadar and Mallika Srinivasan have been chosen by a top India-centric business advocacy group as the recipients of its 2021 Global Leadership Award. HCL Technologies on Monday said its founder Shiv Nadar will take on the role of Chairman Emeritus and Strategic Advisor to the company's board. Nadar, Chief Strategy Officer and Managing Director of the company, on completing 76 years of age, has tendered his resignation as the MD as well as the Director with effect from close of business hours on July 19, according to a regulatory filing.
