State-owned power producer SJVN on Monday posted a 22 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 287.42 crore in the December quarter, mainly due to higher revenues. The consolidated net profit of the company was at Rs 235.46 crore in the quarter ended on December 31, 2021, according to a BSE filing. Total income of the company rose to Rs 711.24 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal from Rs 610.45 crore in the same period a year ago. SJVN's board has approved an interim dividend of Rs 1.15 per equity share for 2022-23. The record date for the same is fixed on February 17. In a statement, the company said it has recorded a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 1,349.48 crore for April-December 2022 period, which is 37.98 per cent higher compared to the year-ago period. State-owned SJVN on Friday said it will set up a 100 MW wind power project at an estimated cost of Rs 700 crore. In a statement, SJVN said it has won the project from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) through an e-reverse auction process. "SJVN has won the full quoted capacity of 100 MW wind power project at (tariff of) Rs 2.90 per unit on build, own and operate basis through e-reverse auction. The tentative cost of the development of this project is Rs 700 crore," the statement said. The project, SJVN said, will be developed anywhere in India through its wholly owned subsidiary SGEL. "Company through its wholly-owned subsidiary SJVN Green Energy Limited has bagged 200 MW solar power project on Build Own and Operate (BOO) basis from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) through e-RA (Reverse Auction) conducted on December 2, 2022," a BSE filing said. SJVN has bagged 90 MW Floating Solar Project at the rate of Rs 3.26/Unit on Build Own and Operate basis in a tender floated by REWA Ultra Mega Solar Ltd (RUMSL), Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN said in a statement. SJVN will develop this project in the country's largest floating solar park at Omkareshwar in Khandwa District of Madhya Pradesh.
