Startup incubator T-Hub on Monday announced the launch of AIC T-Hub Lab2Market program, which aims to transform groundbreaking research into market-ready innovations. Of 200 applicants, 23 startups have been chosen for the first cohort of the programme, according to a release. "Venkat Raman, the accused's husband, arrived here from Bengaluru in the afternoon and reached Calangute police station. We will be recording his statement in the case as part of the probe," the official said. Raman was in Jakarta in Indonesia when the murder took place. According to police, as per the initial investigations the woman smothered her son to death before trying to commit suicide by slashing her wrist.

Space-tech startup Agnikul Cosmos, incubated by IIT-Madras, on Tuesday said it has raised Rs 200 crore in the Series-B funding round and aims to use that for supporting its expansion plans as the firm looks at putting satellites in orbit. The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) is in the process of undertaking a third party assessment of Startup India Seed Fund Scheme to see its impact on the ground, a senior government official said on Friday. The Rs 945-crore scheme was launched in 2021. It aims to provide financial assistance to startups for proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, market entry, and commercialization. The fund was divided into four years for providing seed funding to eligible startups through eligible incubators across India. Joint Secretary in DPIIT Shruti Singh said though the department has received "good" feedback from incubators and startups on the scheme, "we are still doing a third party assessment so that somebody on ground can go and see".
