Auto component maker Sundram Fasteners Ltd has reported its highest ever consolidated net profit for the March 2024 quarter at Rs 134.41 crore on account of strong operational performance. The Chennai-based company had registered consolidated net profit of Rs 127.47 crore, during the corresponding quarter of last year. For the year ending March 31, 2024 the net profit surged to Rs 525.64 crore, as compared to Rs 500.35 crore registered a year ago. Total revenue during the quarter under review grew to Rs 1,477.70 crore, as compared to Rs 1,451.46 crore registered in the same period of last year. For the year ending March 31, 2024, the consolidated revenues remained flat at Rs 5,720.47 crore as against Rs 5,707.60 crore registered in the same period of last year. The city-based firm registered a consolidated profit at Rs 138.03 crore during the corresponding quarter of last year. For the year ending March 31, 2023 the consolidated profit stood at Rs 500.35 crore. The company, in a BSE filing said, it incurred capital expenditure for the quarter that ended June 30, 2023 in line with its planned capital expenditure of Rs 300 crore for the financial year 2023-24. Auto-components manufacturer Sundram Fasteners Ltd has reported a standalone profit of Rs 111.75 crore for the July-September 2022 quarter, according to the Chennai-based company on Wednesday. Its standalone profit was Rs 120.16 crore during the corresponding quarter last year. For the half-year ending September 30, 2022, the standalone profit went up to Rs 241.86 crore from Rs 232.71 crore last year. The total income grew to Rs 1,225.85 crore from Rs 1,064.29 crore. For the six-month period ending September 30, 2022, the income stood at Rs 2,472.07 crore against Rs 2,012.64 crore.
