Welspun One plans to raise Rs 4,000 crore to double portfolio size

Integrated fund and management development platform Welspun One on Wednesday said it has initiated the process to raise Rs 4,000 crore, which is drawing substantial interest, especially from global investors. It will also broaden the platform's investor base and position it as a node for international investors seeking exposure to India's rapidly evolving logistics landscape, Welspun One said. The fundraising is a key milestone in the company's strategy to double its portfolio size from 16 million sq ft to around 32 million sq ft by 2028, the company said, adding that it has already identified a robust pipeline of around 8 million sq ft across multiple assets. Welspun Corp to invest $100 mn to double capacity at Little Rock facility

Welspun Corp on Monday said the company has kicked off a USD 100-million expansion plan to double the capacity of its Little Rock facility in the US to 3.5 lakh tonnes. The unit's present manufacturing capacity is 1.75 lakh tonnes and the expansion project is expected to be executed by March 2026, the company said. Its step-down subsidiary Welspun Tubular LLC on Friday conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of its high-frequency induction welding (HFIW) pipe manufacturing facility in Little Rock, Arkansas, US, Welspun Corp said. Welspun One launches Rs 2,700 cr warehousing & industrial park at JNPA SEZ

Integrated fund and development management platform Welspun One on Wednesday announced the launch of the country's largest single-location Grade A warehousing and industrial park at JNPA Special Economic Zone in Navi Mumbai at an investment of Rs 2,700 crore. With an annual throughput capacity of 36,000 TEUs, the facility which is a part of the strategic collaboration between Welspun One and Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) can accommodate over 400,000 pallet positions along with parking provision for over 600 trucks, Welspun One said in a statement. Welspun Q2 profit falls 27% to Rs 283 cr; board okays Rs 2k cr investments

Welspun Corp on Friday reported around 27 per cent fall in consolidated net profit at Rs 282.96 crore for September quarter, mainly on account of fall in income. It had posted Rs 386.57 crore net profit for July-September 2023, the company said in an exchange filing. Total income declined to Rs 3,364.23 crore from Rs 4,161.41 crore in the second quarter last fiscal. Expenses were at Rs 3,074.90 crore as against Rs 3,820.59 crore a year ago. The board also approved several investment proposals in India and abroad worth over Rs 2,000 crore. It approved a proposal to increase ductile iron pipes capacity to 250 KMTPA from 150 KMTPA, along with setting up the 350 KMTPA LSAW (Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welding) pipes facility at investment of up to USD 200 million (about Rs 1,680 crore) in Saudi Arabia. Welspun Living Q2FY25 results: Net profit increases to Rs 202.4 cr

Home textiles major Welspun Living Ltd on Monday reported a marginal increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 202.4 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2024. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 200.41 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, Welspun Living Ltd said in a regulatory filing. Consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 2,873.09 crore, as against Rs 2,509.08 crore in the year-ago quarter, it added. Total expenses in the second quarter were higher at Rs 2,655.87 crore, as compared to Rs 2,283.42 crore in the same quarter a year ago, the company said. Welspun Living Q1FY25 results: Net profit rises 14% to Rs 185.95 cr

Home textiles major Welspun Living Ltd on Wednesday reported a 14.3 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 185.95 crore in the June 2024 quarter. The company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 162.73 crore in the quarter last fiscal, Welspun Living said in a regulatory filing. Consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 2,536.49 crore compared to Rs 2,184.05 crore in the year-ago period, it added. Welspun One has raised Rs 2,275 crore from investors for its second fund and would use the capital to develop warehousing properties. Welspun One, an integrated fund and development management platform, on Monday announced the successful closure of its second fund totalling Rs 2,275 crores, inclusive of co-investment commitments. This marks the largest domestic fundraise in this space, the company claimed. Welspun Group to invest Rs 500 cr towards plastics biz in Jammu & Kashmir

The Welspun Group on Friday announced a plan to invest over Rs 500 crore in plastics business in Jammu and Kashmir, a top official said. Speaking to PTI, the group's chairman B K Goenka said it will invest over Rs 40,000 crore for multiple projects including the new bets of green hydrogen and green ammonia. Welspun plans to invest Rs 40,000 cr in Gujarat for green hydrogen, ammonia

Diversified group Welspun World on Wednesday pledged Rs 40,000 crore investment to set up green hydrogen and green ammonia ecosystem in Gujarat. The group, through its entity Welspun New Energy Ltd (WNEL), will explore the opportunities for development of green hydrogen projects and its derivatives in the state, according to a statement. Integrated fund and development management platform Welspun One on Wednesday said it will set an in-city warehousing facility in Thane with an outlay of around Rs 600 crore. The facility is strategically located in close proximity to the prime eastern suburbs of Thane and Mulund and the eastern express highway, as per the company. This marks the first deployment of Welspun One Logistics Parks Fund 2, a category II AIF vehicle, which has secured commitments of Rs 1,500-crore out of a target raise of Rs 2,000-crore to date, the company said. Welspun One Logistics Parks' warehousing-focussed fund raises Rs 1,000 cr

Welspun One Logistics Parks (WOLP) on Tuesday said it has raised Rs 1,000 crore within four months of launching its second warehousing-focussed fund. The company also announced the opening of its "green shoe" option to raise an additional Rs 1,000 crore. The potential corpus could reach Rs 2,000 crore upon completion of the green shoe option, which would rank it among the largest in the domestic real estate alternatives space, WOLP said in a statement.
