Cybersecurity firm Rubrik on Wednesday announced its expansion plans in India with the opening of a new office space in Bengaluru.
The new facility, which intends to replace the operations of the company's existing two offices in the city over a period of time, is expected to open by mid of 2025.
"The new facility will combine product development, product management, customer support, and global recovery operations under one roof," a company statement said.
Company co-founder and CEO Bipul Sinha also announced plans to hire talent from India for the expansion.
"By investing in top engineering talent, we believe we will continue to create innovative solutions that enhance Rubrik's portfolio and support our global growth," he added.
Sinha did not, however, provide a figure and timeline on the same.
"India is in the midst of a massive digital transformation, and we believe there is a huge opportunity for Rubrik to help secure its digital future. There is a large pool of talent here.

The international airport here will be carrying out a significant upgrade of its main runway in order to prioritise passenger safety and enhance its overall operational efficiency.
The Thiruvananthapuram International Airport Ltd (TIAL), managed by Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) which is a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, will carry out the recarpeting project from January 14, 2025.
The work will be carried out between 9 am and 6 pm everyday with the project scheduled to be completed by March 29, TIAL said in a release on Wednesday.
During the project work, airlines operating from the airport will schedule flights prior to 9am and after 6pm, it added.
"During this period, the airport will implement a comprehensive plan to ensure the continuity of services and to mitigate any potential inconveniences to passengers and airlines," TIAL said.
The existing runway -- which is 3,374 meter long and 60 metre wide -- was last recarpeted in 2017 and was due for an upgrade to maintain

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Wednesday said there has been an increase in the enrolment rate in elementary education and a reduction in the dropout rate at the secondary level in the state.
He said the state has achieved a notable reduction in the dropout rate at the secondary level to 11.7 per cent.
Khandu wrote on X, "Our concerted efforts have yielded remarkable outcomes. The Adjusted Net Enrolment Rate in elementary education has reached an impressive 100 pc. Similarly, the average annual school dropout rate at the secondary level has reduced significantly."
The chief minister credited Team Arunachal for driving impactful changes in the education sector. He highlighted that the initiatives are aligned with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the goals outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The downward revision of GDP growth estimates for the current fiscal calls for radical action to dispel the cloud of growth slowdown and investment chill in the country, the Congress said on Wednesday.
AICC general secretary in-charge communications Jairam Ramesh said it also set a gloomy backdrop to the Union Budget.
He suggested that income support for India's poor, higher MGNREGA wages and increased minimum support prices (MSPs) were the need of the hour, and demanded a drastic simplification of the "comically complex" GST regime and Income Tax relief for the middle class.
In a statement, Ramesh said the advance estimates released by the Union government for GDP growth in the 2024-25 financial year projected a mere 6.4 per cent growth.
"This is a four-year low, and a sharp deceleration compared to the 8.2 per cent growth recorded in FY24 (2023-24). It is even lower than the recent RBI estimate of 6.6 per cent growth which itself marked a reduction from the earlier projection of
