Introducing Clean Up
Apple’s new Clean Up feature allows you to remove objects from photos using AI in iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS 15.1.
One-tap object removal
Use smart detection feature to remove object with a single tap, leaving the rest of the photo untouched.
Custom removal options
You can also draw a circle or brush over unwanted objects to delete them from your image.
Background Generation
AI fills in the background, even considering shadows and reflections for a natural look.
Apple Intelligence expands
Clean Up is part of Apple Intelligence, which includes other AI features like smart replies, call transcription, and natural language search.
