Google has unveiled the "Take notes for me" feature, powered by Gemini AI, now rolling out to select Google Workspace customers. It is designed to streamline meeting documentation.
The feature automatically records meeting discussions and generates a summary in Google Docs. Notes are saved to the meeting owner’s Google Drive and linked to the calendar event.
If you join a meeting late, the "Summary so far" feature will provide you with a brief of what has been discussed up to that point, and update you on the current discussion topic.
The feature will be available to all Google Workspace customers with specific add-ons by September 10. Currently, it supports only the English language.
Notes and any linked recordings or transcriptions are integrated within the notes document, ensuring comprehensive coverage of meeting content.
