WHEAT
Wheat prices in Delhi market are expected to trade lower towards Rs 1,600 a quintal, from the current levels of Rs 1,650 a quintal, in a couple of weeks due to subdued buying by south Indian millers and pressure on account of seasonal arrivals. South Indian millers are expected to buy lesser quantity on a likely cut or removal of the 25 per cent import duty from July 1.
TURMERIC
Turmeric in Nizamabad market is currently trading at Rs 8,785 a quintal. Prices have been declining over the past week in a thinly traded market. The arrivals of new crop from Tamil Nadu will keep the markets well supplied. So, prices are expected to trade lower towards Rs 8,650 a quintal.
